The purpose of Phi Alpha Honor Society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals.  Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.

2011 Outstanding Advisor of the Year

Robin Walters-Powell
 

Robin Walters-Powell has been selected as the 2011 Outstanding Advisor of the Year.  Robin is the Eta Theta Chapter Advisor at The University of Findlay.  Robin's Phi Alpha students submitted the application and highlighted Robin's eagerness to encourage her chapter be an active chapter in community service. Robin's students view her as a role model in the field of Social Work and appreciate her passion for each student to succeed.
